Beacon Homes

Beacon Homes (headquartered at 2425 S Bryant Ave, Edmond, OK 73013) has been building new homes in the Oklahoma City metro since 2003. The builder offers two primary paths: move-in-ready and to-be-built homes in its own communities, and a Build On Your Land custom program for customers who already own or are choosing a homesite.

Beacon's positioning is centered on construction quality and energy performance, not price. They market a set of distinctive building specifications under the 'Better Built' umbrella: 2x6 exterior wall framing (vs. standard 2x4), post-tensioned concrete foundation slabs, a whole-house water mitigation package, engineer-designed right-sized HVAC systems, spray foam insulation with high-performance windows, and Energy Star appliances. They advertise an average HERS rating of 37 on their homes — significantly below the 100-baseline of a reference home.

Beacon also distinguishes itself on construction management — supervisors carry roughly a dozen active homes at a time rather than the 25–30 common at larger production builders. Pricing across active communities runs from the mid $330Ks at Castlewood Trails in Yukon up to the high $600Ks at Ridge Creek in Edmond, placing them in the move-up and semi-custom tier.
